A Slippery Day

Papa had his hip surgery today. He made it though surgery fine, but is really disoriented as of right now. Thankfully it seemed to go smoothly. Thank you for your prayers.

What is a family to do on a warm summer day? The Slip and Slide of course! This was our second attempt to slide, but we found a huge rip in the bottom. Our neighbor, Miss Denise, showed us a "trick" last time we were at her house. Nathan held the hose and sprayed everyone and we added dish soap to the plastic. It worked like a charm! The kids had fun and didn't even miss the squirting water.

Oh, and the soap makes a heck of a mess! I don't think Danny minded one little bit!
